Society Badges

The original club badge was designed by Les Connell and made its first appearance in 1960 on Show Cards and as a lapel pin badge. The use of an angel fish was first used in 1953 on Show Cards designed by Brian Thurlow.

The new club logo was originally designed and submitted in 1969 by society member Bert Carter. Bert said that his original design showed the interlocking fish forming the letter 'Y' In 1974, Alan Vaissiere submitted his design (above) styled on Bert's original.
