The information on this
web site contains brief extracts from the A4, 126-page 33,000 word book, Merseyside
Aquarist Society: 55th 'Emerald' Anniversary, 1946-2001.
The self-published, spiral-bound computer printed book
contains a detailed account of the 55-year history of the society, over 200 colour
illustrations including numerous show cards from societies that Merseyside
AS members have competed against since the early 1950s. Also, a list of
societies, most of whom are/were FNAS affiliated, which is the most
comprehensive list of Northern UK aquatic societies ever published in any one source.
